The PAS 68 Cantilever Gate System is the perfect solution in providing ultimate protection to your business’ entryway. Designed, engineered and supplied from our factory, completely assembled and tested by us. The gate is either electrically or hydraulically dependent on client specifications.
With a locking pin that ensures our product is secure before impact, the gate is very smooth and quiet and has exceptional control in both directions. It has a standard operating speed of 250mm/sec providing heavy-duty cantilever rolling gear and high-quality bearings and rollers. This product also has a powerful PLC with built-in diagnostics, including programmable inputs and outputs that provide numerous options, depending on client requirements.
The gate is galvanised, and powder coated to a standard RAL colour. It has a vertical bar infill with options of different mesh and security topping available. What makes this product even more promising is that if a power failure occurs, the gate has a full manual override system.
The gate system does not use a track, but a carriage-based system instead. The Cantilever Gate System is extremely durable, unlike ‘Track Gates’ this gate system cannot be lifted off its track. The installation of the Cantilever Gate can be done without disruption to the driveway, unlike track gates. Humps or dips in the driveway does not affect the installation of the gate.
The Gate has a rating of PAS 68 – Publicly Available Specification for vehicle security barriers against hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) and vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED). This is the standard for impact testing and rating hostile vehicle mitigation products. The Cantilever Gate can withstand the impact of a 7.5-tonne truck travelling at 64 kilometres per hour.
